MedAllies Interoperability Initiative
What is it?
The Interoperability Initiative is a test environment that has the capability to fully replicate a production end-to-end system, with a focus on promoting interoperability amongst the Direct community. This environment is open to all EHR vendors that are connected to a DirectTrust accredited HISP.
Over 95% of the market is involved with the MedAllies Interoperability Initiative.
Our Interoperability Initiative allows vendors to test use cases to ensure their messages can be rendered in EHRs and test out software upgrades pre-release to the market. MedAllies has a certification program for vendors providing assurance Direct messaging is fully functional and ready for client use.
Once tested, MedAllies promotes usage and adoption using a methodology only available as a client of MedAllies. We understand clinical workflows in hospitals and provider organizations which allows us to optimize health information technology, especially value-based care models.
