Implementation Team

MedAllies, a dynamic and growing health information technology organization, is looking for Project Managers who would like to contribute to the growth and development of a young organization. We are continuing to expand our Implementation Division and this is a great opportunity to grow with the team and company. Project Managers are responsible for managing all aspects of the implementation process. The position coordinates with all team members including information technology specialists, implementation/training specialists, practice consultants, and the representatives from the client’s site. Project Managers also coordinate with external teams including interface development, vendor-specific, and third-party information technology as required by the specific project. The major role of the Project Manager is to keep the implementation process on time, on schedule, and within the budget allocated. As part of this process, the Project Manager assesses the readiness of a practice, develops a comprehensive project plan, and assigns resources to each client’s implementation team.

MedAllies offers healthcare information technology applications including web portals, electronic prescribing and electronic health records. In addition, MedAllies is the Health Information Service Provider (HISP) for Taconic Health Information Network and Community (THINC), a nationally recognized community collaborative. MedAllies works with THINC on high-profile research studying improvements in patient safety and quality as a result of utilizing health information technology.

The ideal candidate must possess excellent customer service, communications and inter-personal skills in order to transition practices from paper-based medical records to paperless Electronic Health Record (EHR) practices. The Project Management positions require highly motivated individuals with excellent organizational and problem solving skills who are professional, friendly, patient, able to work independently on several tasks at the same time and able to keep teams focused and productive. The ideal candidates must also be able to contribute to the overall success of the Implementation Team by maintaining high levels of client satisfaction and demonstrate the ability to efficiently and effectively project managed clients from paper-based medical records to fully implement EHR systems. Candidates should be detailed oriented with a strong work ethic and have the ability to work with all levels of physician practice staff. Previous demonstrated project management experience required with PMI/PMP certification desirable.
