Help Desk Analysts
Call Center Team
MedAllies, a dynamic and growing health information technology organization, is looking for Help Desk Analysts who would like to contribute to the growth and development of a young organization. We are continuing to expand our Call Center Team and this is a great opportunity to grow with the team and company. Analysts serve as the central point of contact for clients and are responsible for all aspects of client support including requests for enhancements and modifications, reporting and tracking problems that affect the client’s abilities to conduct business and general questions related health care applications.
MedAllies offers healthcare information technology applications including web portals, electronic prescribing and electronic health records. In addition, MedAllies is the Health Information Service Provider (HISP) for Taconic Health Information Network and Community (THINC), a nationally recognized community collaborative. MedAllies works with THINC on high-profile research studying improvements in patient safety and quality as a result of utilizing health information technology.
The analyst answers inbound requests for support in a timely and courteous manner, monitors open tickets and provides status updates to practices at appropriate intervals. The analyst ensures appropriate communication methods and interv als to customers based on issue severity level. They coordinate tickets with knowledge experts and 3rd party organizations as necessary. The analyst is also responsible for supporting the implementation and training team when they are onsite at practice locations.
The ideal candidate must have prior help desk/customer service experience and must be an extremely organized, highly motivated self-starter with excellent attention to detail. Must have exceptional multi-tasking skills and excellent communication skills, including proper telephone etiquette. Must also have the ability to identify, analyze and solve problems. Must be a team player. Must be able to work evenings and weekends.
This position requires a Bachlor's Degree in Computer Science, Healthcare or other similar field. MCSE or A+ certifiation preferred, or must be application certified within the first six months of employment with MedAllies.
